    Atlanta Neighborhood Business Associations

A few days ago, I stood atop my soapbox and preached the gospel of small, independent, locally owned businesses. Today, I wanted to provide some additional resources for those of you who I wrote about- the owners, operators and self-employed who are working in the trenches.

Through my involvement with the Inman Park Business Association, I’ve come to realize just how many of us there are out there. We come in many forms- from the nationally recognized chef to the home-based consultant, the salon owner to the home remodeler. We are on the forefront of the new economy- the canary in the coal mine, if you will.

If you live or work in Atlanta, and are looking for a business association to join, check out my links below. These organizations can provide marketing, networking and educational opportunities to help you pull through the challenging times and excel through the upswing.
