Atlanta’s Wealthiest ZIP Code
True confession: I love the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Book of Lists.
There, I said it. It’s out in the open. Some people can’t stop reading Twilight. Others obsess over ever Presidential biographies. Me? I’ll take the lists. You never know when you may need to know what Atlanta’s largest house of worship is (New Birth Missionary Baptist Church) or the city’s largest private school (Woodward Academy).
While next year’s addition is still a couple of months off, The Chronicle just sent a teaser of sorts: a fact book insert. In it, Atlanta’s wealthiest ZIP codes were listed. The winner- drum roll please- 30327! Congratulations, 30327 (Buckhead/Sandy Springs), you edged out 30097 (Duluth, Johns Creek) for the top spot. Even in the midst of a recession, you kept your crown.
Some statistics on the 30327 ZIP code:
2009 Avg. Household Income: $194,187
2009 Avg. Net Worth: $1,656,928
2009 Population: 25,089
2009 Avg. Home Value: $722,137
If you live in the 30327 zip code and would like to sell your house, give me a call. Alternatively, you could just take me out to dinner- I’d like to go here or here.
