Musings: Is Gwinnett Still Great?
Evidently, success is looking for a new home.
For anyone that’s familiar with these two iconic water towers (how often do you read the words “iconic” and “water towers” in conjunction with one another?), yesterday marked the end of an era. Gwinnett County finally razed these two bastions of H2O and success.
Driving up I-85 will never be the same. Now, the only external entertainment will come while rolling by the Gwinnett Center, wondering if acts like Green Day and Tool realize how “un-rock and roll” the location of the venue is. Not knocking you, Gwinnett Center… but you’re not exactly CBGB.
