Today’s Atlanta Journal-Constitution features a really well written explanation of the state of home appraisals in 2009.
For those obtaining a mortgage, the home appraisal is a critical component of the process. And while many of the housing headlines these days focus on the “front end” (foreclosures! first time homebuyer tax credit! low interest rates!), the truth is that what’s happening on the “back end” is just as relevant.
