Whittaker School
Kudos to Kristina Torres at the Atlanta Journal Constitution for her fascinating piece today on the abandoned Whittaker School campus. Built in 1959, the 1.62 acre Huff Road campus is home to a string of unique hexagonal “pod-like” buildings. The article explores the history and critical issues surrounding the buildings- if you’ve got an extra two minutes and an interest in development/history/architecture, do yourself a favor and read it.
