    Cash For Clunker Appliances… Finally!

Looks like a clunker, (probably) smells like a clunker…

According to the AJC, Georgia’s about to get their share of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 in the form of energy efficient refrigerators, dishwashers and hot water heaters.  If you’re in the market, it’s worth looking in to this program. $8.6 million in stimulus money, and all you have to do is trash that crusty clunker that you call an oven, and replace it with a fancy, stainless steel supermodel convection oven.  The program starts on February 10th, and provides up to $1200 per participating household.  Requirements include living in the state of Georgia, breathing, and the purchase of an Energy Star qualified appliance.
