Atlanta’s Future
Unbridled optimism seemed to be the hallmark of the first stanza of this raucous decade. Following several months of unfettered chaos, we’ve now settled in to the next chapter: what-comes-next-ism.
I’m a little late in posting this, but last week the New York Times’ Economix blog had a great piece by Harvard economist Edward L. Glaeser. “Betting On Atlanta” is an interesting looks at the city’s past, present and future- Glaeser really gets at the nuts and bolts of the situation, and why one should be bullish on what’s ahead for the capital city. Definitely worth the three minutes- read it all here.
