Cabbagetown-Grant Park Corridor Update
The sight of vacant buildings on Memorial Drive has become a sadly familiar sight. While residents of neighboring Cabbagetown, Grant Park and Reynoldstown wax poetic about the prospect of a future Publix supermarket, perception has become reality: empty buildings, vacant lots and half-finished construction.
This weekend, the AJC’s excellent real estate reporter Paul Donsky profiles the once-ascendent Memorial Boulevard: from the hopes and dreams of the go-go aughts, to the reality of the current situation. Definitely a worthwile read.
