    Midtown Green House

    Explaining what green building is- and why it’s cool- isn’t always easy.

    Most people understand that more obvious features- the low-flow water fixtures, tankless water heaters, solar panels and renewable flooring products.  But trying to pull it all together and articulate why it’s important, cost efficient, comfortable and healthy- that’s not always easy.

    The Midtown Green House provides an opportunity for Atlantans to see a beautiful green home, up close and personal.  Built by The Hoots Group and designed by Joel Kelly Design, The Midtown Green House is still a work in progress, but it’s got its own blog, filled with all sorts of interesting details about the planning and construction process.  If you’ve ever wanted to know more about green construction, this is a great place to start.
