Atlanta BeltLine Status Report
Atlanta BeltLine: The Transformation Has Begun.
The Atlantic magazine just published a great update on the Atlanta BeltLine, titled “The Country’s Most Ambitious Smart Growth Project”. It’s a quick read, presenting the basic premise of the BeltLine, progress report, and outlook on the future. You should read it.
I was also pleased to see mention of LiveAlongTheBeltline.com, a website that Atlanta BeltLine Inc. and the Atlanta Development Authority partnered with Sanctuary Real Estate (and Mr. BeltLine himself, Derrick Duckworth, a colleague and BeltLine guru) to develop. It’s a one-stop-shop for home hunters looking to live near the BeltLine, presenting the inside dope on how to access up to $50,000 in down payment assistance.
And if you haven’t gone on one of the free BeltLine Tours or attended an Atlanta BeltLine 101… isn’t it time to make that happen?
