Inman Park Price Reduction
Atlanta has an overabundance of condominiums that look, smell and sound the same. If you’re looking for one of those, let me know. I’ll be happy to negotiate a killer deal for you. If you’re looking for something completely unique, that’s a different story.
My listing at Inman Motor Works is that “different story”, and at its newly reduced price of $166,000, it’s a phenomenal buy. It’s in the shadows of some pretty grand Inman Park Victorians, walking distance to the best that the neighborhood has to offer, and just down the road from both Downtown Atlanta and Decatur. There’s nothing “typical” about it:

Historic Fourth Ward Park Update
Last week, I got a sneak peak of Historic Fourth Ward Park. The park is the first new BeltLine park, and at 35 acres, it’s going to add a huge punch of greenspace to a neighborhood that desperately needs it. They broke ground in October of 2008, and we’re just weeks away from “phase one” opening.
Our tour was exclusively of the “pond” area in the center of the park, so these shots are a little limited… but good fodder nonetheless for all Atlanta BeltLine naysayers out there…
Real Estate Near Historic Fourth Ward Park
Buy Jane Fonda’s Condo (now reduced to under $2,000,000)
Buy something slightly smaller (and less expensive) and Freedom Lofts
Hold off on buying and rent at AMLI Old Fourth Ward (just ask for park views)

Inman Motor Works Open House
Remember that huge, one-of-a-kind Inman Park loft that I blogged about a few weeks ago? The one with the high ceilings, open spaces, abundance of natural light, private outdoor space, membership to the Inman Park pool, location envied from near and far? Yes, that one. I’m holding an open house there this Sunday (September 12), from 2-4.
The Details
Where: 834 Dekalb Ave.
How: Park on Spruce Street. Call me at 404-259-9147, and I’ll buzz you in.
When: 2-4, Sunday September 12
Why: You’re looking for a new home. You know someone who’s looking for a new home. You love lofts. You love good design. You’re brunching somewhere in the neighborhood, and you’re just curious. You’re not looking for a new place just yet, but you just want to get a sense of what’s out there. You can’t stand that it’s football season. You’ve always wanted to meet me.

Inman Motor Works, Unit G
My new listing at Inman Motor Works is a truly fantastic loft. It’s a massive one bedroom (tax records peg the space at 1400 square feet) that’s got the best of both a condominium and a loft wrapped in to one. Its loft credentials speak for themselves (you’ll see a few pictures in a moment), but what’s nice is that it features a separate bedroom area, a dedicated office area and its own private sun terrace.
What also makes the unit really unique is its location. While there are other complexes to choose from in Inman Park (IPV, Brickworks and 870 Inman, amongst others), none “bring the loft” quite like Inman Motor Works does. If you were viewing the home from the inside, you’d swear that you were in one of Castleberry Hill’s signature loft spaces, not just a few blocks from Shaun’s, the Inman Park MARTA station and Callan Castle.
If you know anyone who’s considering an intown condo or townhouse, pass on this post. At $175,000, you’ll be hard pressed to find anything that compares.
And now, I’ll let the pictures do some talking (or, just click here to view the complete listing):
More pictures, after the jump…
