Incredible Loft Deal

Over three years ago, I listed a loft for sale at Gasket City Lofts on Marietta Street.  One-of-a-kind and wide open, it was a show stopper.

Unfortunately, timing is everything.  September of 2009, as you might recall, wasn’t a period of great optimism.  Loft and condo sellers faced an incredibly hostile market, and with a list price of $239,900, the listing suffered the same fate as many of its lofty brethren.  No sale.  As a consolation, the unit was turned in to a rental property.

Three years later, and it’s back on the market as a short sale.  Circumstances have changed dramatically, and the list price reflects this: $139,900.   A $100,000 price reduction- a 58% price cut for those of you statisticians playing along at home- is nothing to sniff at, and neither is the quality of this true loft.  Atlanta is dominated by “”soft”” lofts, faux loftominiums that masquerade as lofts because they may have concrete floors or exposed brick.  If you’re looking for the real deal, however, they’re a little harder to come by.  This baby, however, is a true loft though and through.  Check out the pictures below, and give me a shout if you or anyone you know might be interested in scoring a ridiculously good deal on this one-of-a-kind slice of loft goodness
