The supply of Atlanta housing for sale is down.  Way down.  Take a look at the chart below:

 

So, what happens when supply is low? Sellers swoon. Buyers panic. Builders begin building. Prices rise. A new cycle beings anew.

These charts reflect 4th Quarter statistics for the Metro Atlanta market- the supply and demand dynamics will vary from neighborhood to neighborhood. What’s clear is this: if you’ve been thinking about selling your home for a while, but were waiting for the market to turn around… then you and I need to have a chat.
