Doesn’t matter if you own or rent a home, Clay Duda’s “”Big business bets billions on Atlanta’s housing recovery“” in the current issue of Creative Loafing is an absolute must read. It details what many of us within the real estate community have been aware of for some time: hedge funds and institutional money are cuttting a wide swath in Atlanta’s housing market, and they’re ready to play landlord.
I’ve got no clue as to how this story will end, but it’s a fascinating read. Kudos to Duda and the Loaf- it’s a fantastic piece. Go read it.
