Want some perspective on where the Atlanta residential real estate market is, as far as monthly sales go?  It’s a bit pinched, visually, but the chart below is pretty interesting:


Every quarter, Keller Williams Intown Atlanta provides me with treasure trove of market statistics and analysis from CharterMaster Services.  I then eat, drink and sleep with statistics and analysis.  It’s pretty ridiculous, in a good way.  If you’re interested in real estate, that is.

The accompanying bullet point is very, very interesting:

Increasing sales are reducing the inventory of unsold houses causing the market to become more competitive for buyers, reducing the number of available alternative properties and reducing buyers’ psychological advantage in contract negotiations
Take note: the market is shifting.
Data pulled from all single family detached home sales recorded in FMLS in an 8 county area (Fulton, Dekalb, Cobb, Gwinnet, Paulding, Cherokee, Forsyth, Gwinnett, Douglas).
