Man V. Food Hits Atlanta

My wife and I have recently become big fans of The Travel Channel’s new food show “Man V. Food“.
The concept is simple: a guy that loves eating visits a city and tries to eat as much unhealthy food as he can, in a very short period of time. It’s a cholesterol-fueled, fat-laden hour of splendid television, and I love it.

The show’s host, Adam Richman, is one part Dave Atell, one part Seth Rogan.

An Emory graduate, Richman returns to Atlanta in this week’s episode to visit Gladys Knight and Ron Winan’s Chicken & Waffles, The Vortex and a pizza place in Kennesaw called Big Pie In The Sky. (Note to Travel Channel producers: calling Kennesaw “Atlanta” is like calling The Jonas Brothers “rock music”. You can do better than that. You’re The Travel Channel after all. Find something in Atlanta!)
