Please Refrain From Playing Smooth Jazz When Trying To Sell Your Home

When it’s time to sell your house, you need to do everything in your power to create a product worth buying. There are a myriad of tasks that today’s home seller must take on, including but not limited to: staging, purging, landscaping, organizing and deep-cleaning. It’s just part of the process, especially if you’re committed to selling your home as soon as possible, for as much as possible.

You know what you should avoid doing? Turning your television on to the “”Smooth Jazz”” channel on Music Choice before potential buyers visit your home.

It’s not calming, nor is it inspiring in any way. It’s the exact opposite, actually. Do you know what it’s like to walk into a home for the first time only to be met with the sounds of John Tesh tickling the ivory? It’s distracting.

Trust me people, I’ve got your best interests at heart.
